The Parks at Waterford was established as a Wynne / Jackson development.  The community's first residents moved into their new homes in February 2002.  The completed neighborhood contains more than 600 homes.

 

The original builders in The Parks at Waterford were Drees, K. Hovnanian and Sotherby.

 

In August 2010, Beverly Cheatham Elementary opened as the neighborhood-based Elementary School.
